The statistics are not very encouraging: only 30% of small business are successfully passed on to the second generation and 10% to the third generations. This Workshop will look at the challenges of succession planning for small business, the key factors contributing to the failure of succession.
The presentation will also include the need for succession planning and its role in wealth transfer and legacy building. Finally, it will examine how to carry out a successful succession plan for small businesses.
About the Presenter:

Business, Economic, Finance, and Investment Consulting. He is an expert in Strategy, Planning and Performance Management.
Joshua has unique expertise in business sustainability, business transition and continuity, succession planning, wealth management, estate Planning, and tax planning. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering; MSc in Computer Information System; MA and PhD in Economics. He is a member of the CFA
Institute (Level II Candidate), Chartered Investment Manager, and a Balanced Scorecard Professional. For over 20 years, he worked for several organizations including as an Oilfield
Engineer with Schlumberger Oilfield Services; Transfer Pricing and International Tax Economist with Canada Revenue Agency, Public Servant
with the Government of Canada and in Africa, University Professor, and Corporate Executive, in several countries including Europe’s North Sea
Countries, UK, France, United States, Canada, Nigeria, Venezuela, and Algeria.
Joshua Gogo is the Principal Consultant and Chief Executive Officer at LDCS
