Alberta Health will be making changes to the program, for non-prioritized setting as of March 31, 2022. As of this date, The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce will continue to provide rapid tests only to business and service providers in the areas of:
Alberta Health Services, Long term care, designated supportive living and hospice settings, Community services that work with vulnerable populations, Primary care and Child care.
The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce is excited to partner with Alberta regional Chambers and Alberta Health Services to offer rapid COVID-19 testing kits to local businesses and social profits.
This program—the first of its kind in Western Canada—aims to keep local business open, by offering free access of rapid COVID-19 tests to small and medium-sized organizations to expedite the identification and isolation of pre-symptomatic and asymptomatic cases.
