The 2021 Annual General Meeting took place on Thursday, June 3rd.
Dean Wilcox is the Senior Vice President, Regional Services. He has spent almost 35 years with Suncor, starting his career with Petro Canada and progressing to executive leadership roles in maintenance and reliability at our oil sands operations, followed by approximately three years with the Edmonton Refinery before returning to Fort McMurray.
He is currently Chair of the Wood Buffalo Food Bank and former vice chair of the Northern Lights Regional Health Foundation. Dean also participates in Suncor’s Inclusion and Diversity Council and has a passion for people development and improving workplace safety.
Dean and his wife Jackie have two adult children and in his spare time he enjoys baseball, hockey and football and likes to run, golf and travel.
Perry Berkenpas is as a lifelong learner and former energy executive whose passion is supporting business strategy & executing performance improvement.
In November 2020, Perry became Executive Director of the Oil Sands Community Alliance. With over 38 years’ experience in technical, operational and business leadership, Perry has an in-depth understanding of the oil sands industry, having worked with ConocoPhillips for over 20 years, most recently as the Senior Vice-President of Oil Sands. Prior to joining OSCA, Perry started a consultancy, THINKbeyond, to help clients improve business strategies and performance
