To be considered a member in good-standing your membership fee must be paid and as per our bylaws all membership applications must be ratified by the Board of Directors at their monthly board meeting.


Affiliations - By membership in the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, you are a member of the provincial organization, the Alberta Chambers. As the collective voice for business for Alberta, the Alberta Chambers undertakes lobbying activities in order to improve the operating climate for all businesses in Alberta. The Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce is also a member of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce that protects the rights of Canadian business in lobbying the Federal Government of Canada.

RED Link Terms

To qualify for RED Link a vendor must hold a current valid membership with at least one (1) of the partnering organizations – Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, Fort McMurray Construction Association, Lac La Biche and District Chamber of Commerce and one (1) of the following:
1:  Have a fixed office or distribution point located in and having a street address within the operating region of the RED Link Partners; or

2:  Have at least one full-time employee whose primary residence is in the operating region of the RED Link Partners.

Membership Terms & Conditions
Membership fees for the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce are payable in advance, are non-refundable for twelve consecutive months from the date of acceptance. All members are fully responsible and accountable for all actions of, and all charges incurred by, their designated representative. Membership fees are based on the number of full time employees in your company, including owners, managers and full-time staff. All employees can register for Chamber events at member pricing. All memberships run for a one-year period.
