Small business, big impact

Small businessAlberta's small businesses employ 37 per cent of all private sector employment. And are you ready for this statistic? Small businesses make up 96 per cent of all businesses in Alberta.

Those facts are among the many interesting ones found in a provincial government report appropriately titled Small Business, Big Impact: Alberta Small Business Profile. The full report is available HERE. It is well worth keeping on file.

In keeping with the theme of the importance of Alberta's small business sector, Premier Alison Redford has announced the formation of a Red Tape Reduction Task Force. Information on the task force is available HERE.
